5 Hacks for Every Muslims

There are some hacks or simple and short acts that are very powerful which every Muslim should know. Here are 5 easy acts, along with references so you can check and even show your friends!

1. Smile! It’s Sunnah

Smiling is counted as an act of charity in Islam. Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:

“Your smile in the face of your brother is charity.”
(Hasan hadith, Jami` at-Tirmidhi 1956)

So, when you are smiling, you are actually getting rewards like you gave charity!

2. Say “Subhaanallaahi wa bihamdihi” 100 times

These simple and short words are super powerful! Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:

“Whoever says: ‘Subhaanallaahi wa bihamdihi’ (Glory be to Allah and praise Him) one hundred times a day, will have his sins forgiven even if they are like the foam of the sea.”
(Sahih hadith, Sahih al-Bukhari 6405; Sahih Muslim 2691)

You can say these while waiting for the bus, at home, or anywhere!

3. Help Someone (Even in a Small Way)

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said:

“Every good deed is charity.”
(Sahih hadith, Sahih Muslim 1005)

This literally means picking up something for a friend/family member or sharing your food is also a good deed that gets you huge rewards.

4. Make Quick Duas (Prayers) for Others

Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:

“The supplication of a Muslim for his brother in his absence will certainly be answered. Every time he makes a supplication for good for his brother, the angel appointed for this particular task says: ‘Ameen! May it be for you, too.’”
(Sahih hadith, Sahih Muslim 2732)

So even a short dua for someone else will get an angel to make the same dua for you!

5. Say Salam (Greet with Peace)

The Quran says:

“When you are greeted with a greeting, greet in return with what is better than it or (at least) return it in a like manner…”
(Quran, Surah An-Nisa 4:86)

And the Prophet (peace be upon him) said:

“When you meet one another, then greet with Salam.”
(Sahih hadith, Sahih Muslim 2162)

Each “Assalamu Alaikum” brings ten rewards!

Conclusion: Simple Acts, Big Rewards

These acts are so easy that you don’t need a dictionary or extra time just a big heart and a little effort! Try them every day and know you have proof right from the Quran and the words of our Prophet (peace be upon him).
